I'm Catherine Comiskey, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing psychotherapy to adults and couples. I work with people who sense that something is not quite working in their relationships, emotional lives, or sense of self, even if they cannot yet fully name what that is.

I received my Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Houston and have nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field. My approach is shaped by ongoing postgraduate training at the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies in Houston, one of the country's established psychoanalytic institutes, where I completed a two year advanced psychodynamic psychotherapy program and am currently in a four year psychoanalytic training program. This training informs a relational, depth oriented approach to the work.

Following graduate school, I was selected for a competitive postgraduate fellowship at the Menninger Clinic, one of the leading psychiatric hospitals in the country, and later joined their outpatient program as a clinician. I worked across inpatient and outpatient settings with individuals navigating complex emotional, relational, and trauma related concerns. That experience shaped how I sit with complexity and attend to what is underneath a presenting concern.

Alongside my work at Menninger, I have provided outpatient psychotherapy for several years in private practice, working with adults and couples across a range of life stages and transitions.

Outside of clinical work, I find grounding in close relationships, time outdoors, movement, and creative pursuits
